Can anyone help me with some VC-1 MKV's I have? I can't use FFDShow DXVA or MPC-HC Video Decoder, only PDVD10 will work with VC-1. It plays fine but there are video glitches at the very bottom of the image that kinda scroll from left to right. It isn't noticable on 2:35 aspect movies because I guess the extra black bars, but any movie that's 1:85 or there abouts it's noticable.

Problem doesn't exist on H264 content. I'm yet to try a VC-1 BR, about to do that now. This is the only issue I have, everything else is great

EDIT: Looks like that if I use MPC Video Decoder I can play H264/VC-1 from a MKV without issue, H264 works straight from BR disc but VC-1 does not.

seems I can only make this work when the audio decoder has been configured as "lav audio decoder".

this means i get no spdif audio.. all stuff ends up as 2.0 stereo.

anything i can do ?

when using ffdaudio decoder the bluray title simply wont start.

If you download version LAV 0.25 from here Doom9's Forum - View Single Post - LAV Filters - DirectShow Media Splitter and Decoders bitstreaming is now included.

Is it possible to get the audio format info to display within MP? When I look at the audio streams all I see is English or what have you, no description regarding it's format, IE: AC3 or TrueHD.

With FFDSHow and playing an MKV I can see this, but not with LAV Audio. Kind of annoying for me because I cant bitstream yet.

For using LAVAudio as bitstreaming, the best way to setup it, is to insert the filter into graphstudio and going to his setting, after that, we can check all for bitstreaming.

just wanted to report back that your new binaries work as they should. Autoplay when inserting a bluray works and pressing "play cd/dvd" works as well. Thanks so much, your work is much appreciated!
