Hi,

Maybe you should get latest version of LAV. I can see information, look @ the screenshot.
Seb.

Is that a Bluray or MKV?

I have .25 of LAV installed so I don't understand why it isn't working. Testing it now after re-installing. I am using 1.1.3 of MediaPortal with the V4 version of the handler btw.

EDIT: Definitely doesn't work for me with LAV Audio. Back to FFDShow it is...

I'm using 1.2.0beta :) and yes it was with bluray.
:)

I take it I will need to install the beta to get it right? Something new they've added?

You need LAV Splitter with Latest BDHandler and you can use ffdshow for Video or Audio.

Ok I upgraded to 1.2 BETA and now I'm seeing the audio format within MP for BR and MKV with multiple tracks. However my MKV's that just have the one audio track just come up as English with no further description of the audio. Seems to be a bug maybe? I have only found one MKV I have thus far with multiple audio tracks and its all FLAC. I will have a hunt for some more though, but definitely seems that single audio track MKVs dont display audio info?

EDIT: Looks like I can only see the info by hitting F9 and looking within the audio option there. Thing is that this option isn't available on single audio tracks so that's why I can't see any info. Might be a skin issue but probably MP related? I'm using the latest version of StreamedMP for 1.2B.

Ok.. found out the reason why I was unable to use ffdaudio decoder for bluerays using LAV filter + bd plugin.

My oldish yamaha rxv640 RDS receiver is unable to decode a "DTS HD master audio track" which is the first audio track on the Alien bluray.
In ffdaudio decoder config section I had accidently enabled the DTS-HD passthrough option.
Apparently this made ffdaudio decoder unable to playback the BR.
Once I disabled DTS-HD in ffdaudio decoder and the BR was again working. Although the DTS-HD MA track was now present as 2 channel PCM as identified by the amp.

So lesson learned => figure out what ur amp is capable of decoding and setup the spdif stuff in ffdaudio decoder accordingly.

Also the "play disc" button now works. Although it pops up with a "disc inserted, do u want to see the contents?" dialogue.
Silly as I didnt insert any disc.. it was already inserted since several days hehe.

Other than that it works :)

Is it normal for there to be two instances of TextPassThru while watching a BR? In LAVSpliter Source I have all the subtitles options turned off, but even on I still have two instances.

Also would it be possible to remove the pointless prompt "Disc inserted, do you want to play" when clicking on play disc? Also how about the ability to resume a BR from where it was previously left off? In case you get halfway into a movie and need to stop and come back.
