    Hi.
    Wow thats BIG .
I really can beat this as I have more than 500.000 pictures in my collection...This amount is a "little bit" too much for MP, as you have 1.000.000 thumbs in a single directory, something windows can not handle properly. The DB itself could handle this ofc, but the thumbs are not doing well..

But I never ever have videos inside my pictures folders at all, so this is not really something I can participate. If I do photos I never videotape something and if I videotape something I never take pictures... Sometimes I had an assistant videotaping the photo shooting, but that's some kind of backstage material not to put in the same folder than the "main show"...

    Hey,

You can try recursive slideslow @ least, on current master/1.3.0Beta, it start slowly (for me many minutes before it start to display picture (without video).
With the rework it should start quickly :p

You definitely can say this. Time until recursive slideshow starts decreases from more than 30 Minutes to 5 seconds, amazing, great job.(y)

@Sebastiii, is there any chance that you can have a look at this post, if there is something that can make it into MyPictures as well?

    Hi @Lehmden,

I have reply to forum thread, i would like to fix current bug but i will not add feature (i'm not capable or need to work on it for month lol).
So for now, fix actual issue and will see if another dev can pickup feature :)

So, where are we with this fix? I don't have videos in MyPictures, so I haven't tested (but I will start).

What works? Does anything not work? Are there any known issues? Would be good to get this fix in 1.3.0RC.

    Hi.
...What works? Does anything not work? Are there any known issues?...
I had a "MediaPortal stops working" last evening but I can not say if it's due to this fix.. Will have a closer look as soon as I get the time...
