MP Community,

Before I start a full thread with logfiles and other screen captures, I just wanted to check if the issue I have is well known or not.

I'm still using TVEngine2. I have an SS2 card (latest drivers) and everytime MP wakes us from hibernation (powerscheduler), the recording lasts for about 6 minutes and MP goes back to sleep again. This is as if Powerscheduler was not detecting the recording activity and put the PC back to sleep as if it was idle.

(I also have a DVB-T card, and that one works perfect)

If need be I can provide full config and copy of error files....

Hi Joce, same problem with pvr-scheduler was identified as an xp problem to do with built in WOL inactivity timeout and nothing at all to do with pvr-scheduler. maybe something similar going on here.

Cheers

    As you are not offering a working "Tips & Tricks" article, I have moved this thread to Support.

    The issue with PVR Scheduler was related to a time-out of 2 minutes, and since this seems to be much longer (6 minutes), I don't think that it is similar?

    Hi Guys
    sorry for the incorrect post entry

    Does it mean that SS2 cannot record after hibertnation with MP ??? Is there any identified work around ? I thought that the card was fully supported by MP...

    Not necessarily - could you repeat the exercise and post the MediaPortal log files here as attachments?

    Also, it would help if you completed your System Specification (under User CP).

    Hi taipan, i think the 6 minutes equals 2 + default pre record. Could be wrong but was offered up as a possible similarity.

    Cheers

    Thanks for your support. I will download latest SVN as advised and post the error log if the issue remains.

    All,
    Bug is still there, even with latest SVN.
    Here is how the problem happens:
    * Open MP (enable Powerscheduler)
    * Schedule recording on TV channel associated to SS2 card
    * MP hibernates after 3 minutes of idle state
    * MP wakes up 1 min prior to recording
    * MP records for about 6 minutes
    * MP hibernates again.

    The TV program that was scheduled for the test was on itv3 at 12:55. MP is setup to start recording 5 mins prior to TVProgram starts.

    Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thank you all
    Jocel
