Just a heads up for anyone still waiting for a good deal on a cablecard tuner....

3 Tuner HDHomeRun Prime for $119.99
Shows out of stock at the moment.

But Amazon has it for just a little more ($139.99 and free shipping with Amazon Prime).

Does anyone have the InfiniTV and the Homerun? If so, any thoughts on one performing better/faster than the other?

I have seen both in action and so has @mm1352000. For me at this level (3 tuners) if that is all you need than it really does not matter. The factors to use to decide are:

Internal or External: Only Ceton offers internal tuners
    # of Tuners: HDHomeRun Prime comes in 3, 4 and 6 tuner varieties (I believe), and the Ceton comes in 4 and 6
Interface: If going external HDHomeRun Prime offers USB and Ceton offers USB (now discontinued) and ETH.
Price: HDHomeRun are typically $20-50 cheaper than the Ceton. The cheapest I have seen the InfiniTV is $149.99 and that is rare. Common sale price is $179-200.

    Hope this helps!!!

Thanks that helps a lot. Is it wise to split the cable that runs to your cable modem and send one output to the modem and one to the tuner (then connect the tuner to the router)?

The way I have it set up is:

Line into house to the MoCa. From MoCa to 3-Way splitter. One line to router other line to CableCARD tuner.

I'm confused. What is MoCa, the cable modem? I'm not sure mine has a cable out, if it does then problem solved. Why would you run a cable line to your router?

That's close to my setup too. My 3-way splitter goes to InfiniTV CableCard, and then two more ClearQAM tuners.
