@breese

When you say filled in are you referring to showing up in channels. If so are they mapped i have noticed this on 1.4 but it is because i use schedules direct to get my epg and it runs weather there are channels there or not.

Not sure what you are asking but, I know there use to be a few channels (6 to 10) that the channel names would Auto-Fill just doing the channel scan.
So far this has not happened.

    Does that answer your question?

Just ask.... While I might not always understand, I am a tech and real good at figuring out what people want / need and can test / verify anything.
btw: thank you for all the work you do on this... If testing helps you and others complete what has to be the #1 media porgram out there, then so be it!!

1st pass completed.. Did not find the few Named Channels as before.

    Just started a 2nd pass
    ...

2nd Pass completed... No channel names but did find more channels

    What next?

I might have to get a transport stream dump from one of the [physical] channels which has VCT data, just to confirm WOW are still broadcasting the names.

Something to note that seems to be different

The channels between 0 and 300 seem to have filled in. I do not remember seeing that before. With or without the channel names...
I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean by this.
    Can you explain?
An example would be helpful so that I can check the log files for that channel.

As you can see the channel names are Unknown yet the channel #'s are there.
I also seem to remember the ones in the 200 range were the ones we use to discover the channel names

You're right - the 200 range were the ones that had names. I have absolutely no idea where the channel numbers in your screenshot are coming from, but based on your log files they're not intentionally set.

Only thing I can suggest is a TS dump:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/18_Contribute/4_Development/Debugging/TS_Dumps

When you grab the dump, please timeshift on "Unknown 77-200". Physical 77 is the channel that carries ABCHD and NBCHD. If the VCT is still being provided by WOW then I'll see it in the TS dump. If the VCT is not being provided then I won't see it and we'll understand why the names have gone away.

I turned on the Debug, restarted the process and did the timeshift.
The debug files were never created and the timeshift files are deleted when I stop the timeshift

    Started with debug
    Checked the box in Debug
Went to Manual, restarted process, found the channel requested to test, opened my timeshift folder, clicked Start Timeshift
Stopped timeshift, seen the files get removed
Restarted the process again and watched process control to see the service stop and start.
Went back to manual, found the channel again, started timeshift.... Still only seen the timeshift files..
Grabbed snapshots and stopped the timeshift
