Localization issue where MP expectes the date in some format but it is in another depending on the Windows settings of Language Date/Time/Region. Should be an easy fix. Need to find out how your string looks like, therefore I add some debug code in the exception that outputs the string. Once I see it I can convert it with the appropriate CultureInfo.[ERROR] - Exception: System.FormatException: String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.
What would help here would be the language settings of your windows and all the Region/Format stuff, so I can reproduce. You know the stuff, where you can define how currency, dates, time, numbers look like. Screenshot is probably the simplest way of providing this information.
Yes, there are some glitches I could not fix yet. I did my best to keep them under control, but there are some left here. Out of scope for this work as I don't consider it a show stopper. But windowed mode needs some more work without question. And also if i move mp windowed between 2 screens quite quiclky (it's hard to explain) i have the mouse not staying on MP :
Screenshot please. If i want to put MP in fullscreen (alt+enter) i have strange behaviour, it remove around bar (where is display Mediaportal and you know X (close) _ (Reduce).
You mean maximizing and then hitting Alt-Enter? Screeshot plese. If i maximize MP Windows -> Alt-enter give strange result too.
That is interesting. The splashscreen stays open? I know there are some liminitations inside the MP code when you do this. Problem is I cannot reproduce it. Could you provide me this the logs when this happens?Maybe all of this is related because 'Starting Plugins' stay open.
I run MP without Plugin so that strange (i run it from \mediaportal\MediaPortal.Application\bin\Release).
That's cool. I like bugs being identified.Sorry Scythe for this i'm a bug man lol
