After changing the DPI size everything is fine indeed. But try to clear your skincash after changing the DPI settings and start MP again..
Still fine here. Rendering result in MP is identical.

Really? Damn, what is going on here..

So to be clear: When I change the DPI from 100% --> 125% and I start MP, everything is fine.. BUT, when I clear my skincache now, the fonts are a lot bigger..

I will upload my skincache (font folder) from before, and after changing to a larger DPI, and I will include my logs. I will also try this on my other system aswell.

Yes, that is really strange like the fix is not present on your system... Can you try with the binaries from the first post please? Just updated them a few minutes ago to the current testing state.

Allright, with the files from the first post installed, this problem is gone.. Great!(y)

Now 2 other/new bugs for me:

    1. When the screen selector is DISABLED, Mediaportal is starting windowed, but as soon as I'm in basichome, the screen is fullscreen. When the Screen Selector is ENABLED it is starting as it should. Logs attached.

    2. The 'Ask for confirmation when stopping timeshift' option doesn't work anymore. I have disabled the option in the configuration, but it still asks for confirmation. Logs attached.

EDIT: About the first bug: When I Enable the screen selector, select the right device (televsion) and after that, I didable the screenselector, everything is fine. Only when my second screen is selected (with the option disabled) it's giving me problems..

EDIT 2: Also found a Configuration-Error.log file with only:

[2013-04-16 13:47:01,695] [Config ] [Config Main] [ERROR] - FireDTV: FiresatApi.dll could not be found on your system!

I'm not using a fireDTV card.. Very strange isn't it? This wasn't there before....

Since yesterday i had two bluescreens :(.
Both of them with the errorcode 0x00000116. Google tells me its a problem with my graphics card, graphics driver or directx.
I havnt changed anything in the last month or so, other than trying these testbuilds. I dont know if mp could be the reason for this, but as you are working with reinitializing dxd stuff and so on, i thought there might be the possibility. I will now try the 1.3 original files for a few days.
Just wanted to let everybody know :).

Precise description please. Is it the Splashscreen? What are you exactly seeing.

From the logs I see the following:
    Code:
    [2013-04-16 13:36:56,416] [Log	] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - Main: MP is using screen: \\.\DISPLAY1 (Position: 416,1080 Dimensions: 1024x768)
Your primary display only has a resolution of 1024x768 and MP is started on it. Looks perfectly fine.

Later MP gets moved to another screen and resizes itself. Perfectly fine.
    Code:
    [2013-04-16 13:36:56,446] [Log	] [MPMain ] [DEBUG] - Main: WM_GETMINMAXINFO
[2013-04-16 13:36:56,446] [Log	] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - Main: Screen MP is displayed on changed from \\.\DISPLAY1 to \\.\DISPLAY2
    [2013-04-16 13:36:56,446] [Log	] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - Main: Bounds of display changed from 1024x768 to 1920x1080

The question here how does the window get moved? Any other software involved?

    2. The 'Ask for confirmation when stopping timeshift' option doesn't work anymore. I have disabled the option in the configuration, but it still asks for confirmation. Logs attached.
Can anyone confirm this? I am not able to reproduce. Works fine here.

Selecting screens without the screen selector???????????? If the screen selector is disabled MP will start up on the primary display. Please explain a bit more in detail what you are doing here.

And what has screen selection to do with an "ask for confirmation when stopping timeshift?".

Also how do you change these settings? Using configuration.exe or did you do it inside MP? If In MP did you also apply the changed skin files?

EDIT 2: Also found a Configuration-Error.log file with only:
Can be ignored. Change in master and I have not included the file it is looking for because it is not related.

Thanks, but that is not related to my builds. GPU crashed beyond control of the OS. Indicates diver and/or hardware issue.

MP does nothing on kernel level and therefore it cannot crash the whole OS.

yep, I disabled the option: "Ask for confirmation..." and if I press stop it will ask me if I really want to stop the playback...
