Hey Rhys, what settings are you using to scan Optus D1. I've just started playing with the Tv server, but it doesn't find any channels.

I wouldn't mind a look at your channel export.xml just to get it going if all else fails.

Yeah I've got tvserver working pretty well now. As for scanning; it depends on your LNB LOF freq. Mine is 11300mhz I think tvserver is hardcoded for 10600mhz so I had to offsett the transponder freq (In the transponder files) to get it to work with my lnb.

Cool. should beble to get it going now with that info. I remember seeing that thread before to. The new sky twin LNB is 10750 if anyone needs to know. I had to take a picture with a camera hanging of the edge of the roof to read the lable

No worky for me even after changing your export.xml, hunting around, looking in file and drinking all my beers. I'll try again tomorrow.

It needs to have lnb frequency settings like MP does.

yeah that would help but we should be able to work arround it. I've attached 2 files. Copy them to:
C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\Tuningparameters\
It will ask you if you want to overwrite the "satellites.xml" say yes.

I can't upload .ini files so rename OptusD1.txt to OptusD1.ini

Now when you go into TVServer setup your should see OptusD1 as the first satellite listed. Delete all you digital channels and try to scan again.

Still no luck for me. I think I'll just have to wait till the Lnb settings are changed or just get a 10600 Lnb.

Strange. Ok well if you want I can remote in and have a look. Otherwise, yeah just wait for the feature to be implimented, might be a while tho!

My LNB settings are 11300 for LNB and 0 for Switch,

had issues getting my hauppauge nova-s card going, but got there in the end


Also, for people who currently dont know
Apparently the freeview channels will have EPG via MPEG-5 only so i dont think we can retrieve them in mediaportal if they do this

hmmm yeah I heard something about that, what is MPEG5 then? is it not common. Maybe it will be possible to grap the epg data via some other (scheduled)utility dumped to xml file then push it in to MP.
