Can this scaper be used with My Films as well as Moving Pictures and if so, how do I configure My Films to use it?

No as doveman pointed out, the IMDb+ scraper-script is specifically written to cater for the way Moving-Pictures imports movies. It therefore doesn't work for MediaPortal's own MyVideos and neither for MyFilms.

MyFilms is awesome when you already have an existing database of your collection in a program such as ANT, as it simply ties in directly with that information. So if you are after for example the movie filmseries grouping, perhaps look at existing support for this at ANT level, and then you can just transfer that over to MyFilms.

Another solution would be to rename all your movies to contain the right information needed to allow for a perfect import into MovingPictures via IMDb+. All you really need is for each movie to have its IMDb tt-ID to either be part of the filename or inside an NFO file. The import process is then fast, 100% guaranteed and would get all the benefits that IMDb+ can offer. But that's a choice I can't make for you.
