AW: Can someone help to create a CI Menu for the Terratec Cinergy C HD + CI?

Here are some more details for the program;)
    Blade API Monitor - Screenshots
There are comments on the screenshots, I hope that will help you to understand my screenshots =)

    To the DvrApi.dll

    Sorry for confusing you....
[1] DvrApi.dll (147Kb) is the compiled proxy dll, the source is in DvrApi.cpp
[2] _DvrApi.dll is the original .dll from the THC Version on my main PC (an older version (one year or so, don't need it), but I updated this virsion some minutes ago)
[3] DvrApil.dll (1.6MB) is the original .dll from my HTPC (a newer version of THC)

    Hey,

I have one more question, maybe you can help :p
If a application communicate with a drive, it calls special windows API functions, right?
So my question is now which Windows functions get celled if I'm communicating with a BDA driver, because this info is all we need, right?

My idea is the following if I understand the communication progress in the right way:
We log which dll function is called and then we log the windows function which is called right after the function call of the dll. So we would have all we need :p

Did my information help you in any way? Can you puzzle something with this info so that we can investigate this issue more? Can I do anything to give you some more information?

    Hi again FreakyJ

I apologise for the lack of updates. Life is a bit crazy at the moment. After reading *a lot* of Twinhan interface code I have discovered why my PID filter code doesn't work - your tuner is not meant to support it. The PID filter is for USB devices (especially USB 1.x devices) like the StarBox or MagicBox (vp7021, vp7021a, vp7042). As for the CI menu, I'm going to have a fresh look at my code and the information you posted when I have a chance (which won't be this weekend - have to work :(). I really wish I had hardware to test with, but Terratec tuners are not available in NZ - I'm considering buying from Ebay. I'll report back when I have something new to say...

    Hey,

nice to hear some news =)
haha, that is a really good reason that your code doesn't work :D

Would be great if you would do that ;) If I can do anything let me know. Maybe you can tell me the kernel functions which get called to communicate with the driver, because I found another tool ( API Monitor: Spy on API Calls and COM Interfaces (Freeware 32-bit and 64-bit Versions!) | rohitab.com ) with this one I can monitor some windows kernel functions ;)

I'm excited to hear the next news and wish you still a nice weekend even if you have to work =)

Anyone managed to get the API SDK from Terratec?

I would really like to drop my softcam and start using my hardware CAM.

Sorry, I called Terratec twice, the first time they were really uncooperative, the second time the guy wanted to call the developers and then write me a mail... no mail yet >_>

But they already recognized that there are several requests ;) Maybe you can write a mail to Terratec, too =) If more people want full support for MP, they maybe will do that oO

I've sent an email earlier with the same respond. "Has been forwarded to the developers, you'll have to wait, nothing else I can do" etc.

Actually I did send an email yesterday, linking to this forum. I will do what I can to get hold of some API documentation, or even better a SDK.

I can't understand why Terratec won't cooperate? We just want to use their product...?

yeah, I told them too >_> One guy just told me, they have just no interest, because they want you using their own software, but fact is that their software is just a peace of cr** and doesn't have the functionality like MP.

It is really nice to hear that someone else is interested in the API, too^^ Maybe we will get it after a while :D
