    AW: Can someone help to create a CI Menu for the Terratec Cinergy C HD + CI?

    I tested multidecrypting with the old Tv..dll and the new one from you.

    It looks like as it didn't work with the old one, but with the new one it works. But at the moment where I switched the channel I have a freezing/juddering picture for one or two seconds.^^
    If you want, I have the logs ;) Tomorrow I will test it again =)

    Thanks for your help ;)

    Ah, so it didn't work before! From looking at the code I thought it was unlikely that it was working, but since I didn't have a card with a CI I couldn't confirm it. Now I've got two confirmations. Melstig also reported the freezing/juddering. That will be difficult to get rid of because of the way that I'm sending instructions to the CAM. I need to do some research to see if there is a better way to do things...

    I will check it again if you should find a better way =)

    And yes I read the complete topic with you and Melstig, was a very interesting discussion ;)

    Hi again FreakyJ

    Okay, I've made quite a lot of progress tidying up the code and adding support for some new functions. Could you please try this version with the CI menu. I'll need logs again after you've done this test...

    Thank you :)

    Okay, did the following:

    1. stop everything (MP & Server)
    2. replaced the .dll
    3. opened Tv Server Confuguration -> ..-> Terratec Cinergy.. -> Ci Menu -> click button "Open CI Menu"
    4. nothing happened
    5. clicked the "cancel" button
    6. started MP in debug mode
    7. tuned to channel "Discovery channel"
    8. F9 -> CI Menu -> nothing happen
    9. MP didn't responded to any key press nor the mouse was visible, but video and sound was still okay
    10. closed MP by the task manager
    11. collected logs

    What was expected to happen?

    Thanks for doing a great job ;)

    Edit:
    There is some old stuff in the logs from yesterday, I'm sorry about that, you have to start by the 8. January around 13:30...

    Edit2:

    providing additional logs:

    1. stop Tv Service
    2. deleted error.log & tv.log
    3. started Tv Service
    4. TvServers -> .. -> Cinergy... -> Ci Menu -> clicked button
    5. waited some seconds (10 or 15); nothing happened
    6. clicked cancel
    7. stop Tv Service
    8. attached logs [error.log (wasn't available/nor error.log was generated & attached tv.log]

    Hi again

    I didn't quite get what I expected in the logs. An "epic fail" on my part really! :oops: :sorry:
    I have added some more logging and fixed some bugs, so could you please test this version quickly. Your testing where you tested the CI menu then tried to watch Discovery is perfect. Please be sure to wait *at least 2 minutes* for the CI menu though before you cancel and try Discovery. I know this seems quite long. I'm trying to find out exactly how large a buffer is required which makes things take much longer than it otherwise would.

    Thanks once again for your efforts :D

    p.s. I'm working on the multidecrypt glitch issue right now. I hope to have something to test in an hour or so :D

    Text follows in an edit, so you can already take a look at the logfiles ;)

    The Edit:

    1. stop everything like always
    2. this time deleted tv.log & error.log
    3. started config and so on..
    4. clicked button & waited 3 - 4 minutes => nothing happened
    5. clicked cancel
    6. started MP in Debugmode & tuned to Discovery Channel
    7. pressed F9 => CI Menu & waited 2 or 3 minutes again
    8. after that time MP was this time responsible, but didn't tested while waiting
    9. closed MP and collected logs

    So you seems to be night active (can I say that in English?! xD), but that's good for me :p
