    You're right - I'm a bit of a "night owl". Most of the rest of the team are in Europe, so it is convenient for them too. I won't be able to stay up this late after I go back to work on Monday, so I'm hoping we can get lots done before the end of the weekend ;)

    According to your logs we're slowly making progress :)
    Another version for you to try here...

    I hope we will get it this weekend, too :p But I'm leaving in round about 30 minutes, because we are going for lunch with my family^^

    Everything looked the same as the last time, also the steps were the same ;)

    Logs attached as everytime^^

    P.S.: with your okay, I will delete the old log files, because I'm starting to use a lot of space here xD

    Edit:

    Maybe the dll / .c file of my first post in this topic is a help for you... I disassembled a file from terratec which is responsible for the ci menu ;)

    That's fine. I might go to bed after this version so that I am fresh for Monday...

    It may look the same, but I'm seeing improvements in the logs so be encouraged. PID filtering also looks like it is close to working :).

    Absolutely, go ahead.

    Okay, so this version is different than the previous versions. This is the first version where I've attempted to fix the glitches with multidecrypt. Don't worry about testing the CI menu with this one (there haven't been any changes). The most important thing is to test multiple encrypted channels on the same transponder. If you can, please try the following situations:

    1. One FTA channel.
    2. Multiple FTA channels.
    3. One scrambled channel.
    4. One scrambled + multiple FTA channels.
    5. Multiple scrambled channels.
    6. Multiple scrambled + multiple FTA channels.

    This will take some time to test fully. I don't think that everything will work first time, so please start from 1, and if that works try 2 (and so on).

    Enjoy your lunch :)

    [Edit: new version attached, bug fixed]

    And thanks, I hope I will enjoy :p

    I will try to test this all, but what is FTA (free to air)?!

    Testing on your birthday?!? Dedicated :D
    Definitely, enjoy the party. Testing can wait ;)

    FTA = "free-to-air", non-scrambled

    Soo I will start to test a bit... and will update this post here, if something is missing let me know ;)

    ----------------- Updates below ---------------------------

    1. FTA => seems to be O.k.
    2. ?? not tested yet ???
    3. one scrambled channel => *not* O.k.

    Details:

    to 1.
    started and switched between FTA channels, there seems to be no problems

    to 2.
    It works sometimes, but most of the time it doesn't.
    Example:
    I'm on an FTA channel and want to switch to RTL (scrambled) then I'm getting the error: "The channel is encrypted" ["Der Kanal ist verschlüsselt"] in German (If it should appear in the logs ;) ).
    If I try it multiple times then it works sometimes and I can watch... but switching to another scrambled channel is the same procedure again, but back to an FTA works fine.
    I had also the error "No vido/audio detected" (in German again: "Es wurde kein Video/Audio gefunden"), but I couldn't reproduce it again jet during the debug mode, sorry about that.

    logs attached ;) If something isn't that clear just ask :p

    further information: If the channel is descrambled I can watch it over a longer period so the problem is the "initial" descrambling xD^^ Okay maybe not the best words for this issue, but I hope you know what I mean ;)
    Further it looks like as it works always the first time I turn on the Tv, for this I have to explain a bit more^^

    I have the following configuration:
    If I click the "Tv" button in the home menu the Tv (in MP) starts immediately in fullscreen mode and tunes to the last channel I watched.
    In Germany all private digital channels are scrambled so only the public channels are FTA channels :p
    This leads to the circumstance that the channel which MP tunes the first time to is scrambled and this seems to work always.. so there must be a problem in the "update" routine...

    In short: Turn on Tv => Tv starts in fullscreen mode => the channel MP tunes to is scrambled => works, no error messages

    The Problem is only if I switch between the scrambled channels or from a FTA channel to a scramble one.
    This is not a "it works always 100% the first time", but I tried it quite a few times and it worked always but it can be luck, too^^

    Re: AW: Can someone help to create a CI Menu for the Terratec Cinergy C HD + CI?

    Hi FreakyJ

    Thank you for the logs - they are perfect :D.
    I can see *exactly* what was happening - the EPG scanner was sometimes confusing my new code when it wasn't able to grab the EPG for a channel (in particular "Kino auf Abruf Kino 05"). This new version has the following improvements:

    - fixed the issue you found with "timed out waiting for PMT" errors
    - fixed an issue that Melstig found where the CAM thought it was already decoding a channel
    - improve the instructions that I'm sending to the CAM
    - fixed memory leak with the CI menu debugging
    - fixed struct layout issue with PID filtering

    Hopefully this version should be quite stable with multidecrypt and PID filtering. I don't think the CI menu will work yet, but I guess we'll soon find out ;)

    Please could you test both the CI menu and multidecrypt with this version when you have some time. Thank you once again for your efforts :D

    I have to thank you for your grate work! ;)

    I can't test it in detail now (TeamViewer --> Home - PC --- .... you know^^), but I could do a littel test :p

    I did the following:

    1. stopped everything and replaced files
    2. started Tv Service
    3. tried to open the CI Menu and waited 1 - 2 minutes => no luck, but you already told me^^
    4. started MP in debug mode
    4. tuned to a scrambled channel => FTA channel => scrambled one => another scrambled one => another scrambled one => another scrambled one again and it works all the time^^
    6. closed MP an collected logs

    You will get a detailed test later when I'm not connected over RDP xD but so far everything looks great :p

    The EPG seems to be a bad guy xD^^
