    Hi @all,

trying to watch a recorded TV Show. (Records every Weekday)
When Press the Play Button the Screen is freeze and nothing happend.
    No Sound no Video...

This Happens on both Clients i use.

At this Time i can´t use any Button except of the Stop Button. Then the Screen "unfreeze" and i can use MP.

The Recording itself is on the TV Server and the Clients use UNC instead of RTSP because of many Problems with it.
(Life TV works really fine with UNC, fast Channel switch etc...)

The TS File from the Record plays fine on both Clients with the Windows Media Player.

Please see the Attached Logfiles at the End of the Logs. ("Anna und die Liebe")

Many :D for help on this!

No Idea? Today it happens again. Please have a look @ attached Logs.
This is totally random in my eyes..

Playing the File with Windows Media Player on the Client works fine.

    :D:D:D

Edit: This time it was a "one time" Recording.

Tried to show Graphdata with Graphstudio and MP in Windowed Mode. But after "Connect to Remote Graph" and select the MP-Graph nothing happens.
    (proppage.dll is registered)

    I´m lost here... :(

    Hi Brudertac

Is this a recording of an encrypted channel? It almost looks like the recording is still encrypted. You could try the TsReader from -->here<--, or some of owlsroost's ones from -->here<--.

    Hi mm,

it is indeed an encrypted channel. I will try the TS reader...
BUT, why can the Windows Media Player play those recorded TS files? Isn´t that impossible IF it is encrypted?

    Thanks!

What codecs are you using, recommend LAV filters available from the desktop MP extensions installer, recommend that all audio be set to LAV, keep video using M$ filters, unless you have a nvidia graphics card, then use LAV with cuvid enabled.

Wondering if audio is dolby, thats why WMP can play files and MP using M$ audio codecs cannot.

Have tried the latest Readers from both Threads. None of it works on this.

This happens with MS Codec AND LAV. Using LAV with Nvidia Card and Optical Output for AC3/DTS on one Client.
And MS Codec on second Client. (On the second Client i installed LAV too, but it does not work either.)

    Audio is not Dolby.

    Any other Ideas? :D:D

    Hi again

Indeed, if WMC can play it then the file is unencrypted. Could you please upload a sample recording that doesn't play to our FTP server. Maximum 100 MB. Login details are at the bottom of -->this page<--, and please also use the file naming conventions.

    Hi mm,

will do this as soon as possible.
But it will be hard because this happens randomly and not every time or on the same channel.
Maybe i could upload a part of the already made Record which isn´t working?

Edit: This happens never to a Timeshift, only on Records. So i will not get an "error timeshift file"...

    Thanks!

    Hi again

Yes, you can upload part of the recording - just close the FTP client once 100 MB has uploaded.
