Hi,

The config prog still does not work for me.
2009-01-04 13:13:31.468750 [Info.][WebEPG Config]: WebEPG Config: Button: Import
2009-01-04 13:13:31.468750 [Info.][WebEPG Config]: WebEPG Config: Importing from TV Server Database
2009-01-04 13:13:32.218750 [ERROR][WebEPG Config]: WebEPG Config: Import failed - The database backend (provider SQLServer) could not be reached.
Check the connection string:

BUT - I did not use "MediaPortal" for DB password - will I need to edit a config file for webepg? And I do run the TVServer on Win2K3 R2.

I still have the same problem after applying the patch. Have rebooted the computer, and I am sure I replaced the file. I am using the latest SVN version (01-07-2009 22-21h - Revision:21306.rar)

I find it really weird that this fix actually worked for some people, but not all.

Is there any app-cache I have to remove to make this work?

    Hi,
Update: grab the file attached here & extract it & the replace the WebEPG-Conf.exe in MediaPortal root folder & test if it works then, if it doesn't attach logs again..

    Regards
    Roy

I was having the same problems as others in here. At first I thought it was a problem w/ Gentle.conf (I had MSSQL Server enabled, but it was uninstalled), but after fixing it the error persisted.

With this new .exe things work (so far). Thanks!
