I put the file you attached in the folder you said to put it in. How do I post my logs?

There should be a WebEPG.log in the same folder as MediaPortal.log. It is created when you run WebEPG. Also note that running WebEPG gives no visual feedback but creates tvguide-writing.xml and logs its results in WebEPG.log. When it finishes, it deletes the existing tvguide.xml and renames tvguide-writing.xml to tvguide.xml

Also when you run WebEPG check in task manager that it actually runs.

I've also problems to generate a new tvguide.xml in MP 1.1 RC1 (singleseat) with xmltv plugin
    The file does not exist.
With this link i've tried but no luck.
The page looks out-dated. Time to update the page?

    (Sorry, no logs attached)

First of all this thread is related to MP 1.0.2 and WebEPG, not 1.1.0 RC1

Second, xmltv plugin does not generate a tvguide.xml, it only reads it and imports it into MP's database. You have to provide tvguide.xml (either using some xmltv grabber available for your country, or regularly downloading it from some site appropriate for your country, or using WebEPG to create one). BUT if you use WebEPG in 1.1.0 RC1 you do not need to create a tvguide.xml and you do not need to use xmltv plugin.

It appears that WebEPG ended prematurely. It is not obvious whether it was due to a crash, ended through task manager, or some other error as you have not included the rest of the logs. That is why we always ask for full logs.

    You can try the following:

    • Run WebEPG
    • open task manager and verify in processes that it is running
    • look into xmltv directory, is there a tvguide-writing.xml file?
    • Wait until WebEPG finishes, is tvguide-writing.xml still there?
    • collect all logs and post here
