Can't switch TV on (1 Viewer)

I think when DMan is talking about the naming conventions he also means the fact that with RC2 you can set your own names for the recorded tv files. Have you set this or are you using the default names for tv recordings?

To be honest, i don't even know where i can change this name...
So it is default.

What directory do you want me to make and for what purpose?

In the directory above i do have rights for sure. I will try in the card1 dir.
But as said earlier, i did made an empty live.tv file in that directory, so that means i have write access to it. Or can it be otherwise with directory's?

About RC2, i did both plain install and with CVS of 10-01

Well... did a totally new install of another XP version with SP1 included.
After that i installed SP2 and the usual stuff. (.net 1.1+fix and .net 2.0)

MP again.. with and without latest CVS (11-01) and both times i have exactly the same issue again.

Can't switch tv on or of, unless i put the "live.tv" file in the "card1" directory and make this file read-only.

Also i can't undo the read-only on the card1 directory, whichs seems to be done automaticly by windows or MP.

I find it very weird that i am the only one with this problem.

Is it possible that it has anything to to with the Dutch version of XP and the dutch versions of .Net?

Is the MP team looking into this problem allready, or do i have to post it somewhere else??

You're not alone.
I just installed RC2 and have the very same problem.
No tv displayed, no way I can act on the TV on switch, and Timeshifting is grayed.
