Can't tune channel without Audio - NoVideoAudioDetected (1 Viewer)

Same problem in the latest version Mediaportal 1.3.0 !
Still no fix in this version?

Satellite: Astra 1 - 19.2 °E
Transponder: 12722000 H (symb: 22000, FEC: 3/4, MOD: 8PSK DVB-S2)
Provider: TV-Vlaanderen
Channel: Informatiekanaal --> FTA --> can be used to test !!!!

This channel is the providers information channel with some sheets in a loop. This is a "video only channel". Stream only contains a VPID but no APID.
Mediaportal doens't like this situation. Eigther "No signal" or "No audio / video dedected" error message when tuning.
In DVBviewer no problem to tune to this channel and the DVBsource filter is indeed showing there is no audio.

Is there already a solution or should sometihing be done internally on the TV-server side?

Such channels are not supported. There is no plan to support them.

Make your case and we can think about whether it is possible to support...

That's a good question! For me not so huge important, but it would be nice to get it tuned in Mediaportal.

Don't know if much has to be altered in the TV-server code. Maybe it is not so difficult to implement.
Mabye it could be helpfull to foresee an extra propertie like "only video channel" in the TV-channels list where the user can select this and the TV-server can be triggered by this propertie.

I'll try your suggestion and will send a bug repport.

FYI, my community has a cable channel without sound where people and groups can post their activities, like "Charity Sale Next Friday." I never pay any attention to it, but it's there, and maybe some people do pay attention to it. Of course, even they would not record it, would they?
