well reinstalled the lav filters and then looked at the settings. Switched all codec options to lav. I played with the evr setting also and switched off the epg settings but not the card grabbing config.
All seems to be working great. I think it was the evr settings. Thank you all very much for your input. It is very nuch appreciated.
As i said got everything set to lav. Is this the best option for visual or is another setting better quality?

Glad you got it sorted.

Personally I think LAV is as good quality as anything I have seen, and it's free.

Wanted to thank you all again. Switched on this morning and working very well.
Now to get epg working!!
And then the remote!!
And then recording!!
And then webstream plugins!!
Thanks now its actually working you can see its a quality bit of software.
