    Hi Fausto

    1. Open TV Server configuration.
    2. Expand the "TV Servers" node.
    3. Expand the node for your server.
    4. Select the satellite tuner that you are using. You should see something like the screenshot -->here<--.
    5. The "update satellite list" button is below the "scan for channels" button.

If you haven't got the button then you are using an old version of MP - I recommend that you upgrade.

    Hi mm1352000
    THKS a lot4 yr help
What u mean with log files?
    Anyway I'm using a Dell Dimension 9200 with XTEND TV HD5570 1G GDDR5 HDMI/DVI-I saphire.
I did upgrade to MP 1.2 but still RAI 1-2-3 channels are not available. I got 305 channels from scan (Italy all regions) even RAI 4 etc but the three most diffused channels are not coming...

    Hi again Fausto

So you still don't see the button - I guess you're using a DVB-C or DVB-T tuner then? It would be good to mention that. ;)

What u mean with log files?
Log files give us detailed information about what MediaPortal is doing. You can find out how to collect logs -->here<--. In your case:

    1. Find the "debug mode" link in the "Team MediaPortal" folder in your start menu.
    2. Start that.
    3. Select option 3 "export all currently present logs".
    4. Click proceed. This will create a zip file on your desktop.
    5. Post the zip file here. There are detailed instructions for doing that -->here<--.

I did upgrade to MP 1.2 but still RAI 1-2-3 channels are not available. I got 305 channels from scan (Italy all regions) even RAI 4 etc but the three most diffused channels are not coming...
I guess you mean 1.2.0 beta. You could try upgrading to the 1.2.0 release candidate that has just been released. If you still have problems after that or you don't want to upgrade right now then post the log files as instructed above.

You can manually grab the logs.

    1. Open TV Server configuration.
    2. In the top left hand corner click "open log directory".
    3. Zip up all the files you find there and post the zip file here.

    Hmmm

I don't see any problems in the logs. All things considered, it seems most likely to me that the frequency is not being scanned. Are you able to find the list of DVB-T transmitter frequencies for your area? Alternatively, can you check the settings in a TV to see what frequency the RAI channels are on?
