same problem here using latest svn versions

    * using timeshift functionality you sometimes get kicked back to the beginning/end of the buffer file

    * changing channels several times you sometimes get kicked back to the beginning of the buffer file

I'm going to post logs when it happens again...

Same problem here, happens somewhat randomly but usually within 4 or 5 channel changes (same MUX/different MUX, doesn't seem to make any difference).

For me it happens on channelchange and ac3 audio stream was selected before.

Would be nice to known if the users having this problem have multi-seat or single-seat environment, since the seeking mechanism is different.

Single seat in my case, it happens zapping or changing the audio stream.
It goes to the beginning of the timeshift buffer instead of the end if I press jump ahead several times I can catch the correct live tv channel.

    Thanks
    Dareh.

For me it happens mainly when the new channel does not have the same audio streams (like zapping from an AC3 channel to one with one mpg audio stream only).

Silly question: how can I tell, from inside MP, if a channel has AC3 or MPEG audio?

    BTW: I have a single-seat environment.

Press "info" 2 times or "context menu" = F9 and see if you can switch the audio

    setup:
latest svn for MP and Tv Server

    what did I do:
at first I watched Pro7 for some time -> works fine
switching from Pro7 to ARD -> works fine
switching from ARD to Mtv -> playback jumps back to somewhere of the pro7 broadcast
(this should be the last event in the log files as I closed MP afterwards)
