Hi Romijn,

could you confirm that you are able to see two encrypted channels simultaneously? Or one of them is encrypted and the other is FTA? The point is that in the settings shown from your capture card there is one "This card can decode 0 channels simultanously" that confuses me a bit.

Best rgds.

Understood. Were you able to solve your issue or is just Romijn the only one with an Astoncrypt and DD up fully and running?

By the way, do you use a specific sat splitter? I have only one antena cable (guess is the case of most of people) and I am a bit worry about the signal strength-

Rgds

I am still waiting that my card gets back from Aston support. Will see if they have found an issue with it. It also should come back updated to 2.26.

Please, provide feedback once back and tested. I am very interested in this setup as it fits perfectly with my needs.

    Hi guys,

Finally I got today my astoncrypt updated to 2.26 by Aston. So far I still cannot get it to work with 2 tuners. I tried to set it as Romijn did and also changes many combinations in TVSetup like 1 CAM/tuner (Astoncrypt, DVBS provider).

    I observes several symptoms.

1- The CAM is set to both tuner via Cineconfig. Then in TVSetup I can only access to the CAM menu only once, I mean if I enter it in tuner 1 then the menu does not open for 2 tuners. On the TVserver logs I see: "no listener"

2- I run MP in debug. Tune to 1st encrypted channel. I get "channel is crypted". Then tune successfully to FTA. then go back to coded channel then get again "channel is crypted"

3- If I set CAM to only 1 tuner by Cineconfig then 1 channel can be decrypted successfully.

Only difference with Astoncrypt from Romijn is my hardware version is 1.000 while he has 1.01

I also tried the patch from Diebagger for Floppydtv listener and it did not help. Here are logs for case 1 and 2.

    DjeC64,

Did you map the two tuners in TV Channels - TV Mapping to both tuners?

    Hi DjeC64

1- The CAM is set to both tuner via Cineconfig. Then in TVSetup I can only access to the CAM menu only once, I mean if I enter it in tuner 1 then the menu does not open for 2 tuners. On the TVserver logs I see: "no listener"
There seems to be a problem with MP. In the logs I see:

2011-12-06 22:56:18.409179 [(15)]: CiMenu: registered client event for callback

    2011-12-06 22:56:18.440429 [(15)]: CiMenu: unregistered client callback.

... when you try to access the menu with the second tuner. That is why you see the "CI menu received but no listeners available" message later.

2- I run MP in debug. Tune to 1st encrypted channel. I get "channel is crypted". Then tune successfully to FTA. then go back to coded channel then get again "channel is crypted"
I don't know the DD cards very well since I've never owned one. However it seems odd to me that both tuners are using "Digital Devices Common Interface 2". Why is there no Digital Devices Common Interface 1? When TV Server asks for the channels to be decrypted the tuner driver is returning a success message. I don't understand this - I think you need help from morpheus_xx or I need to buy a card to test with.

3- If I set CAM to only 1 tuner by Cineconfig then 1 channel can be decrypted successfully.
Have you got logs for this?

I also tried the patch from Diebagger for Floppydtv listener and it did not help. Here are logs for case 1 and 2.
That patch won't help you. :(
