AW: Client : Connetion to server problem with multiple network interfaces

Ok Smeulf, so could you please summarize what exactly is the remaining problem at the current state? That makes it easier to return to this issue in the future. I would leave the issue as "Bug".
    Thanks!

Well, maybe I won't have to summarize after all, and we'll can close it : I found my problem.

This damned fracking Windows firewall had a bad rule for MP2-Client.exe in the release folder. I deleted all firewall rules for MP2, and let it re-create them automatically, and now it's working like a charm.

So we can set this issue to fixed.

Again, thanks to everyone your help to solve it, with a special mention to MJGraf for the extended tests.

Is the firewall really the reason for your problem which was not reproducible? Normally, a firewall should cause reproducible problems...

Re: AW: Client : Connetion to server problem with multiple network interfaces

It's all my fault : I tested both release and debug builds, I could repdoduce the problem with the release one (bad firewall rule), but not with the debug one (good firewall rule).

It just took me too much time to realize I was testing 2 differents builds, and this explains why it was so random. Maybe too much beer, or not enought sleep, who knows :p

I just tried Alpha today with the Client on my media pc and Server on my home server and had the same no servers available message. I was having the same problem as previously posted. The server would receive connection but the client was not receiving a response. The client machine has only one adapter and the server has two adapters. No firewall on either machine. After trying a few things with no success, I found something about IPV6.

I plugged it in, and voila, everything worked. Hoping this helps someone else.
