Yes it didn't finish. Movies did, but not Series. I had to start a new reimport in the Client options. Seems its doing the whole lot again (thousands of files). Guess intention is server should resume itself thats why the only user option is a total reinstall?

If I remember correctly we had seen this issue. The importer got confused by the Season 2 and the S02E03. It does work correctly if all episodes are stored within the same folder.

It will at the next occasion. Either during the scheduled night clean-up or whenever you add a new file to the share. Please also see my comment about the intermediate season folders.

Keep in mind that you are looking at the preview version. Many errors have already been fixed.

So I just played this file CS NY 2/17, plays fine on the server no problems so file isn't corrupt.

Also all my episodes are in:

Show Name Folder -> Season # Folder -> Season episode files

if thats what you mean? I thought this was the preferred method.

EDIT: I understand what you mean now. I will wait for that to get fixed, no chance I am putting all files of a show inside only 1 folder. My OCD can not cope with that!

I mean that the warning messages that breese pointed out refer to the structure:
Series / Season n / Episode S0nExx

In 2.1pre the importer is getting confused by the "Season n". While I believe we made changes to the importer, it would be safe to store episodes in the structure
Series / Episode S0nExx, i.e. all episodes in the same folder.

Antialiasing does generally not work, I had always crashes when changing. I think we should remove it from settings if faulty.

If this is a generally valid statement, we should capture this in an own Jira.

Obsessive compulsive disorder. I don't have it, its a figure of speech. I like order to my files, personally the thought of shows not filed by season number is disorderly

PS on the anti aliasing. The option I chose when freeze happens seems to have taken effect (it shows 4 samples selected when I go back in now). But I have no idea if it is actually doing anything.

If you don't see a difference it's not worth activating.

Don't know what or how to look for anything in it.

I need to play some more anyhow. I am getting stuttering playback again like last time I tried MP2 and overall find the GUI quite unresponsive (small list view scrolling is not smooth at all and varies in speed and opening items from main list in wmc skin can take 2-3 seconds which cant be right) - maybe something more sinister is wrong somewhere.
