Here is what i am thinking along the lines of so far, the home screen shows the latest movies, tvseries and music along with info about them if you select them and the ability to play direct from there. The menu is available just by going right and ( provided it's possible ) will be available in all windows the same way like for example in the screenshot for moving pictures attached. It's clean and easy to follow/read.

i am using OnePortal since maybe 2 weeks now and i really missed the mvCentral support. So i spend some time on the weekend and added it myself. I just thought it was funny when i saw your screenshots from Moving Pictures today, compared to what i did for the music videos. Kind of going down a similar road. Of course i like your blue better but my wife don't.

Hi,
here is basicly my thought process, pressed into a PS file. I like the idea of having fanart (but not behind any layers where you can hardly tell what it is) and a maxium on information (maybe a little too much some times, if you look at the screenshot). Of course my concept is not new, it's more like a combination of all the great skins so far (Avalon, Titan, Maya and Aeon from XBMC, and so on).
At this point i really have to say that i am impreesed where all these people working on MP are stealing the time to put all this effort into the project. Once you start spending some time on this, you do get a general idea. So (i know, off topic), great job to all.

I like it, the only issue i have with such information laden design is that is any of the information is missing at the time the page looks junk which is why i think you have to compromise.
If fanart and info scraping was 100% guaranteed then there would be no issue but it will never be 100%.

You are absolutly right and i agree. That is one of those reasons why all my movies have a backdrop and folder jpg inside the folder and the info is scraped from a local ANT Movie Database. So at least for movies i am at 100%. The other plugins would have to be looked at of course.

I haven't read all posts in this thread but I must say that all these media info logos that are consatnly thrown at you looks awful in every skin. Sure, cool at first but I'm generally only interested in one of them, the subtitles logo. I would prefer to have them hidden unless you really want to know the tech details like many skins have for mopi's movie detail screen 2 presses to the right.

And I must say I really like your minimalistic and good looking pics/mockups wiz123.
