Continuity error... in tswriter.log (1 Viewer)

    Does this problem also happen with recordings from those channels, or is it only when timeshifting (live TV)?

    If you play a 'live' recording i.e. start a recording, wait 10-20 seconds and then start playing it from the beginning, does the problem happen?

    Can you provide full logs please (use the MP Watchdog tool to collect the logs) - It's *possible* that playback problems are impacting TV-server performance when recording and playing at the same time i.e. timeshifting or playing a 'live' recording.

    Yes, same errors one can see in live tv also appear while playing the recording.
    Here are the log.

    It might not be significant, but the 'Fanart Handler' plugin is logging four "The string can not have a length of zero" exceptions every second:

    Probably a completely different problem because there are no continuity errors in the TsWriter log file when you view that channel.
    Your client-side configuration is not the best:
    • MPAR with live TV
    • VMR9 on W10
    Either of these - especially the first - could be the source of your problem.
    Please amend your configuration (eg. use default DirectSound audio renderer for TV and EVR or madVR as video renderer). If you still have a problem after that, please start your own thread with fresh log files.

    Same problem with disabled fanart handler.
    I assume the problem does not have to do with Mp - just with TVServer. The discontinues appear while watching preview or just recording and MP is not running.

    Ah - ok - did only look after similiar event. You are right - VMR9 was enabled I have changed this (was a msitake when testing madvr)

    I tried the CAM settings -> no difference.

    Yes, i would really appreciate the TeamViewer session -> would be weekend ok for you - or better next week?
