    Hi Django

Thanks for reporting the solution. :D
The code that "talks" to the CAM directly is in the tuner drivers. TV Server talks to the CAM by talking to the tuner driver which in turn talks to the CAM, so it isn't possible to fix the issue in our software. If it is possible then you could try upgrading the CAM firmware or tuner driver...

As a side note: I have recently bought two Irdeto CAMs of different brands. Both are recognised by my Technotrend Budget S2 3200, but only one can decrypt properly - the other one behaves like there are bad signal problems (constant discontinuities in the logs). In my WinTV CI, the one that works well with the TT card does not work at all (not even recognised) and the one that has problems with the TT card works perfectly. All that is to say that CAMs can be troublesome - we have to consider the signal encryption characteristics as well as tuner compatibility.

    Oh man what a stuff!

Life could be so much easier if things would work as they should, isn't it?

As I said, at the moment I'm happy with the Aston Cams. After several days of test, I found some discontinuities just after channel switching, but only 6-10 per day. So this is really no problem.

    Thanks for your clarification.
