    Hello Shukuyen,

like Cyrus1896 said, some type of customization for the buttons would be great.
(I miss a "pause" button - or maybe there is some button with
this function as "function 2" and I don't know about that?)

It would be nice, if the keyboard thing (bottom of display) would
    disapear completely.

Maybe something for the FAQ (or I did not recognized it):
    - When I installed Wifi Remote and the app I got no connection.
It was not the firewall but the port wich was already in use by
another service ... id did not take long time to figure it out, but
maybee it would be easier to now where to change that :)
    - Like other people, i had the "xml-problem" (did not exist, had to copy), too
(now it works - do I still "need" to install the Wifi Remote update?

And now the "flowers" :D :
I did not have to think twice to buy your app, since I found it.
Thank you for that nice work!

    Regards

    Hi parachute,

You are right, the pause button is the same as the play button. It will switch state, once your MediaPortal starts playing a file.

It would be nice, if the keyboard thing (bottom of display) would
    disapear completely.
I didn't hide it completely on purpose because the "swipe to hide/unhide" function is not that intuitive or well known amongst iPhone apps. My worries were that it would confuse users if the toolbar was hidden by accident.

What I could do is add a setting where you can choose if you want to hide the toolbar completely or only half as it is now.

That's a good point. I will see to it that we do some port checking in the WifiRemote configuration.

if you don't want to use aMPdroid (DieBagger's android remote app) you can skip this WifiRemote version. The only other thing in it except the XML copy fix is a QR code that you can scan to get the server address and port. This won't work with couchpotato and isn't necessary due to bonjour server detection.

And now the "flowers" :D :

    thanks for the flowers :)

    Bye,

Some more wishes for future releases: :D

Some kind of "multi usage remote app".
As I'm using my htpc not just for media portal, I use "mobile mouse" as another app for having wireless mouse and keyboard access in windows. For the Moment, I switch apps, when I like to check mails or surf on the internet or doing file-operations and that stuff.
Maybe that's some kind of idea for next releases (2 apps in one) and worth some extra "coins" for a "pro version"

    Consult your BIOS documentation. :)

There are a few things you need to consider to get WoL working:

    • As aduck said wol has to be enabled in your bios (wake up on ethernet or similar)
    • It has to be enabled in windows for your network interface.
    • Your Mediaportal PC has to be connected via cable! Wifi won't work (yet?)

For number 1 and 2 please ask google for tutorials with your mainboard and OS name. It differs slightly from version to version.
