I have accepted you invitation.. I have translated a few thing now for testing.. Works fine

I hope to translate the rest next week, so I hope that It's done for version 1.3. What is the date for that on your roadmap?

Don't hurry ;-)
I rewrote how connections to WifiRemote are handled and this most certainly introduced lots of bugs and unexpected behaviour. I want to get rid of the most obvious, then do some beta testing with brave individuals and after this complete a first version with GMAWebservice support. So as you may guess it will take a while for the new version to be ready :-S

CouchPotato - doenst work for me

The App doenst work for me, maybe here can someone help me?!

My System:
Windows 7 32bit
- Firewall off
- Security Center off

Mediaportal 1.1.3 installed yesterday, before 1.1.0 installed (also doenst work)
Mediacenter Log File says that WiFi Remote is running and have no errors.
Bonjour is activated and installed.

Can someone give me some tips, what i can try?

Can you please describe how the app doesn't work? Does the server not appear in the server list? Does it appear but connecting doesn't work? Do other apps that rely on Bonjour work on your iPhone or is Bonjour maybe blocked by your router?

Also please post your MediaPortal.log file for a MediaPortal start in debug mode.

You can try to add the server manually ("edit" in serverlist) and check if that works.

The app cant connect to the Server. Server appears in List As Online.
But when i Tab on it. He is connecting...and connecting...and connecting.
My log can i post Tomorrow.

Yes and please try to connect before sending the log. Maybe we see what happens in there, although I doubt it. That you can see the server in CouchPotato means that Bonjour is working. That it doesn't connect means that a) the connection is blocked somewhere on the network or b) that maybe the hostname couldn't be resolved. You can check b) if you add the server to CouchPotatos favorites, edit it and replace the hostname with the ip of your MediaPortal PC.

The change to IP-adress work for me.
But there is a funny thing. The entry i've added shows "Offline", but now is the server unter Autodetected Server in the list and this entry work for me.
In the Autodeteced List, there was no entry before...

BUT thanks a lot at all. Now it works!

Hi, still liking the app a lot, just a small problem ive been havin:

i have my htpc set to turn off the TV lcd when idle, i realized that the app will connect to mediaportal and even move through the menus (it shows on the app) but the monitor wont come up.
i have to use the mouse app to move the mouse and that wakes it up.

any clues?

Hi himochi,

this is because WifiRemote only calls MediaPortal internal commands. Windows will not cancel power savings mode when this happens. I have opened an issue for WifiRemote to check for display off/screensaver on on connect and cancel those.
