I'm using the most up to date version of Sky Grabber plugin. The "index was outside of the array" came up because I had tried to run a grab with the "modulation not set" tabs ticked. However, I unticked these options and this error was not replicated - though I was still unable to get my EPG to save.

You need to delete the database and start again as your database thinks the data is there but it isn't.
Did you use the Refresh EPG option in Manual Control?

To delete the database

Stop the TV Service and close the TV-Server Configuration

Click Start --> All Programs --> MySQL --> MySQL Server 5.1 --> MySQL Command Line Client

Password should be :

MediaPortal <-- (case sensitive)

Type the following

drop database mptvdb;

[return]

Now open the TV-Server Configuration

I see where I've gone wrong now! I did a full satellite scan prior to running your grabber. Your Sky Plugin pre-specifies the channel settings, thus a channel scan is not required.

So... How do I include channels in groups that aren't part of the UK Sky Regions - such as Setanta Ireland?

If you scan with my plugin then you can add channels manually by clicking TV Channels --> Channels , right click the channel you wish to add, then click Copy to group. You can create a new one or copy it to one that is already there.

Has anyone tested this with a dual tbs and a nova hd s2??

Also, did anyone ever get to the bottom of the continuity errors??

Everything is ticketyboo here bar ITV4+1 which resolutely has no epg. I know it's been removed from sky; is there a way i can get the epg for this channel?

    Any ideas please?

The continuity errors are definatly to do with signal.

I used to get them every 4-5 minutes.

I used to use a Blackgold card. I changed to a DVBSKY S952 DUAL DVB-S2 card. And since then I hardly get any now. Maybe like 1 every 2 hours.

I guess the tuner on this new card is more sensitive and better and therefore my signal has improved .

Also some cards don't report the signal strength and signal quality correctly.

My blackgold card used to report signal strength of 88%

When I switched to my new DVBSKY S952 card my signal strength went to 70% but I get less continuity errors.

I think its impossible to completly remove all continuity errors and never get any of them as sat signal is effected by wind, rain , environment, obstacles etc but if you get it to an acceptable level then its alright.

Bascially if you have continuity errors try a different card and see if it changes anything. If you buy from places like amazon you can try it and if it doesnt help send it back and get all your money back.

Anyone got any ideas what " pmtgrabber: serviceid mismatch f0c != f0b " means ?

I am getting it only with ITV1 HD . Get 10 of them every seconds and keeps getting written in the tswriter log over and over. End up with about 10 , 000 of them and 100mb + log size

You can have 2 or more channels that link to the same stream.

ITV1 HD will exist as 2 seperate channels(Service IDs) but will link to the same Video and Audio Stream.

The PMT grabber only grabs the first Service ID and it thinks there is a mismatch which is technically true but its not. This is in the pipeline to be fixed.
