Mine seems to use 1 tuner per channel - maybe because they are encrypted? (at least most of the time)..

If encrypted, you must enable multiple plugins per tuner. It is an M config thing.

Link on page 1 updated too. You only need this file as you should have already installed .458 for MediaPortal.

Sleeping on it helps.

Never assume always check. Tried to update the same column twice. Should work now. Let me know if it doesn't.

Not sure if me running Windows 8 and SQL Express 2012 is anything to do with it?

I am downloading the Management Studio for SQL Server 2012, will take some time as my broadband is crap at home.

Once I get it up and running I'll be able to sort this issue.

I got it working by changing the version number manually, but then I had the problem that Batfink had with the TV Guide not displaying and the missing label errors. Then all of a sudden Mediaportal refused to run any more and just gave a "stopped working" error message.

Here we go again with another fresh install!!

My broadband is pants too - drives me nuts!
