    I am sure I read somewhere that it could do more than one channel per tuner depending on transponder, but don't seem to be able to figure it..
    Yes, this applies to any tuner. It should just work.

    Still the same problem..!

    Not sure if me running Windows 8 and SQL Express 2012 is anything to do with it?

    I am downloading the Management Studio for SQL Server 2012, will take some time as my broadband is crap at home.

    Once I get it up and running I'll be able to sort this issue.

    I got it working by changing the version number manually, but then I had the problem that Batfink had with the TV Guide not displaying and the missing label errors. Then all of a sudden Mediaportal refused to run any more and just gave a "stopped working" error message.

    Here we go again with another fresh install!!

    My broadband is pants too - drives me nuts!
