Uploaded a new file to the first post.

It should work as I have modified the SQL file with notepad++ and it is identical to earlier releases.

Had to download 1.5GB of data for a modification to a 221kb file.

Haha! That would take half a day to download on my BB..

Still gotta rebuild the client in the kitchen yet once this is done - kids go cold turkey without their Mediaportal!

Can I be cheeky and make a feature request please?

When I set it up, I go in and sort all the channels into alphabetical order - when new channels get added, then the order gets mixed up.

Any way of adding the ability to keep the sorted order?

De-select "Use Sky Numbers"

This will stop them being ordered by the channel numbers.

It won't keep them alphabetical though - new channels just get added at the bottom of the list.

Not to worry, it's not a biggie - I can just resort whenever channels get added!

Loving Mediaportal now - got it running in Windows 8 Kiosk mode and it's pretty much perfect. I have noticed that channel changes are a fair bit slower - I have changed everything though (hardware, OS, MP) so could be anything! Only thing the same is the TBS6984 card.

Djblu or anyone else that has the know, when the sky grabber runs - does some cleanup action take place for old epg data?

1.3 beta is mega quick at opening the epg compared to 1.3a ( I remember alpha being really quick when I first installed it) leading me to believe it gradually gets slower (frog in frying pan situation )

Personally haven't looked into the changes so cannot comment.
