Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (5 Viewers)

I'm trying to iron out remaining issues with my MePo installation. I couldn't live without the Sky UK EPG plugin and DJBlu has done a sterling job, but there is one issue that still plagues me, and I'm wondering if someone knows how to solve the issue.

The Channel 4 and friends channels (More4, E4, etc...) seem to get duplicated (attached image) and also do not contain any EPG data like the other channels. As far as I can see channel numbers, transponders and SID's are the same on all duplicated channels.

Anyone know why it might be doing this.

Great plugin first time use

I am using 1.3 Beta and your latest version.

Not sure if it's a potential issue or not, but it appears my "Series Links" are not recording, i.e. system is not coming out of standby and recording at the scheduled time I have noticed this for the last few days now.

Last night I had 2 recording set:

Fringe Sky 1 @ 10pm (Series Link)

Mistifs E4 @ 1am (Once)

The system was in standby for fringe at 10pm and did not record, it was still in stanby at 1am but DID record Misfits.
When the unit was on (not in standby) it did record:

Emmerdale ITV 1 @ 7pm (Series Link)

Coronation St ITV 1 @ 7.30pm (Series Link).

Therefore It DOES NOT seem to be recording series links from standby. this has been the same all week.

Attached is the last 2 days TV logs,

If I can provide any further info please let me know.

OK Ran some more tests and think I see the issue:

Set a Series Link Recording for 6am and put HTPC into standby = Recording Worked as Expected.

Set a Series Link for 6.30am - Rebooted HTPC - Put into Standby = DID NOT RECORD

Therefore it appears that the TVService is not picking up the scheduled tasks when it is started for series links.

Does this help, can anyone reproduce ?

I can confirm the series link wake up issue, that's an old bug as well djblu, snuck back in

Series link records when system is awake but fails when sleeping

It wasn't adding series link to the wake up queue before if I remember correctly

do you still have sky news available after using the ignore scrambled channels

I have Sky news. My location is London. I wonder if the region you're in is doing something screwy.

I also noticed that I have some other encrypted channels like the Sony movie channels, mtv live & box nation are present. Not that it is a problem as i just hide them.

Does anyone know if this should also include the radio channels? as i don't seem any.

Need to wait for new files and use alternate recording options


As for radio mine has grabbed radio channels - I'm not hiding encrypted though so maybe the radio channels are sky encrypted??

Hi,

I'm using 1.3B and 1.2.0.34, and have noticed that when the grab starts it TV server completely takes up 1 of my cores, causing TV to dropout on clients.

Is this expected? it's only a problem in the grabbing data section.

since my server is a HP Microserver and only has a dual 1.5Ghz processor it may not affect people with higher spec's.

Apologies if this has been mentioned before. It's no major issue as i have it set to grab at 4AM.
