Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (7 Viewers)

Hi there,

I have recently upgraded to this latest version (clean install) and started to notice a few issues:

I wake from sleep and the MePo client hangs (think this might be a PS++ issue so logged it in that thread), but the TV Server is reporting errors too (DB related).

Can someone please confirm what the TVserver DVB EPG settings should be (I have the Sky EPG plugin settings correct) - Are the TVServer DVB EPG settings even used?

Please see the attached log for the TVServer/DB issues - I woke the system at about 08:45, the errors occurred around 08:46

Hi DJBlu, sorry to clog your thread up but it appears that the box office channels do not have the description attached to the program. The program titles are fine but the desciptions contain only things like [HD] or [SUB].

These can be turned off in the settings.

deselect - Include Extra Program Info ([HD],[SUB],[W] etc)

I will be uploading a new file later that will remove the "HD" in the title.

Those are the correct line ups... What on earth is going on with what I am doing that makes me NOT get what you've got from the file I sent?! Time to re-read the instructions and start again I'm seriously confused!

I presume that the plugin can be used on the 1.4 final build you posted on page 1, with the custom data grabber and not 1.3A as the heading indicates above the plugins?

The way to install is,

Install 1.4.0 Final and ensure all is working. I.e. scan for channels.
Stop service. Close Setup TV.
Install 1.4.0.16 git and ensure all is still working.
Stop service. Close Setup TV.
Place Sky NZ Plugin in tvserver/plugins
Open Setup TV and start service.
Activate Sky NZ plugin.
Stop Service and Close Setup TV.
Open Setup TV and start service. This bit is important as the settings get messed up on first load.

Settings I use.

Select the top 5 settings. Leave the others.

Region / Groups
Select as required

Cards / Mappings
As Required

Ok, just uninstalling and have re-downloaded everything to start again. Does it matter if I am using MySQL 5.1 or 5.6 as I've currently got 5.6 installed.

I use the version that is installed by default by the installer.

Yup, in the TV Server directory
