Hi DJBlu,

Just wanted to let you know, as someone else has pointed out, since putting the sky uk 1.4.0.6 in, I have only 1 of my dual DVB-S2 cards listed, the card is a DVBSky S952.

I have done the deleting of the skyuk settings and dropping the database completely, both have not fixed the issue.

Let me know if you need logs etc.

Same here on the same card.

Still shows as 2 in the tuners so I'm presuming that it's just using the one listed for grabbing the EPG.

Other than the little glitch it is working very well. I remember testing this along time ago and I'm glad I decided to give it another go..... Excellent work.

Forgive me for asking something that's probably been asked a million times before, it's just so generic I didn't know what to search for.

I've gort DJBlu's excellent plugin up and running and have got it to set up all my channels a la Sky as it saves such a task of sorting etc.

Now though I'd like to tinker a bit, move a few channels around, move others down the list.

What's the best way to do this? If I move all stuff around, will the plugin move them all back again next time it updates? If so is there a way of stopping this.

Actually as I type I might be answering my own question. I could create a new group, call it Freesat, and insert it before Entertainment in channel manager, then add the channels I'd like in there - like favourites really. The plugin doesn't seem to mess with existing groups.

Thanks! And thanks DJBlu. Appreciate your time and work.

You can go into the "Channels" group..Far left. From there you can put channels in groups or from each group you can remove channels. Is that what you mean?

Thanks - yes - just want to make sure that if I did that, the plugin wouldn't reverse my changes next time it did an update.

OK I'm sorry I have a really dumb question. In Mediaportal, where is the Series Link option?

I have the plugin working, all the EPG, channels, groups, logos etc. - really - great work. I have the patched MediaPortal installed, so I go off to the guide and where is series link? There's a 'record the series' option in advanced recording, but I have a feeling that's not it.

Something more serious now I'm afraid.

Since installing tv server 1.4.016 I'm getting lots of continuity errors in the TS Writer log file, and flickering, stuttering on screen. This doesn't happen on the MediaPortal standard 1.4, nor does it happen in DVBViewer etc.

But all channels - FTA or scrambled - are triggering lots of continuity errors when viewed or recorded as soon as I've installed DJBlu's version. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

You need to enable it under quick record setting (along with record single programme) in Mediaportal settings.
Then when you press the record button, it will prompt you to record once or record series.

Thanks psykix I'll look it up - continuity errors are nothing to do with DJBlu's plugin - sorry. Reverted to vanilla 1.4 and they've returned on that version.

Does the plugin have an option to retrieve only Freesat from Sky channels though? I know you could create a channel group, but that's kinda one of the benefits of the plugin that it was automatically managed. Plus it removes dead channels and introduces the new ones automatically.. I only want to see those channels in my guide (Sky Freesat channels), none of the others.

Or is it a manual job?
