Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (5 Viewers)

sorry, our posts crossed - I didnt see your prior message - will unmap the cards as you suggest and try and let you know what it comes back with

Have not changed any files other than a clean 1.2b install, then your 2 svn updates, and your custom data grabber and sky plugin... then setting up my tv/mp setup.

hmm - unmapped from all other cards but the tevii, but it is still using the 8920! Have restarted tv service, and disabled then enabled the sky plugin, but it ignores the setting and uses the 8920 instead??

ok, have done a reboot and using the tevii only it finds 1015 channels and 965 in 15 bouquets... doesnt look wrong there?

Try another few scans m8. Let me know how you get on.

Do you have the DVB EPG grabber enabled for sky also?

If so disable it.

When I say unmap it I mean in the TV Channels -> TV Mapping

If that doesn't work then delete the channel and ensure it is only selected for the TeVii in the Sky Plugin.

Dont have epg grabber enabled... have just deleted all channels (tv and radio) and done a grab with your plugin only mapped to the tevii and it finds and groups correctly...

Have just done another 5 grabs (tevii only) and it has not broken anything.. any other ideas? Could it be one f the TBS cards instead?

It could be the 8920 but don't quote me on it. It just seems that when one card fails it brings down the others.

DJBlu - its taken a few days for me to test v15. This is definitely a lot more stable than the previous version.

However, I occasionally get a runaway custom_xxx.ts file. This filled up my 4GB flash drive, and brought down my TV service. Logfiles attached, except for the tswriter log as this grew to 100Mb!

Looks like you are using an old Custom Data Grabber.

Download the one on the first post and replace it.

ok, so I have not mapped anything to the TBS 8920 card and unchecked this from the sky plugin - and now it seems to be working... perhaps the TBS and Tevii cards simply dont play nicely together - will have a play with card confiruration over the weekend.

Hi all got the plugin working and all that but one channel does not work..
ITV1 HD does not work.. All other channels work and decode? is they anyway to add the freetoair version to your plugin.

Maybe some options to pick what version of ITV1 HD I think they are 4 version... 1 freesat 3 sky and 2 are free to air. Only one is DVB-S2 . The DVB-S version is better for me as I only have 2xdvb-s - 2xdvb-s2 with BBC and CH4 and Sky HD all going DVB-S2 now..

I appreciate that DJBlu has had his hands full getting the Sky plugin perfected (and also has a life!) but I was just wondering where we are wrt the Freesat series-link? Any progress on this at all?

can you please when you have time merge your patch with latest SVN? There have been changes on recording schedules and I'm not able to apply it anymore.

I also have an error (tvserver crashes) when trying to update channels (EPG Works fine and also the first scan when the DB is clean works fine). This with you last SkyIT plugin.

Still getting channels disappearing after a message that they no longer belong in this region... have even reinstalled mediaportal - need any more logs or info to explore? For now I have disabled channel scan/group updates
