Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (1 Viewer)

Still getting channels disappearing after a message that they no longer belong in this region... have even reinstalled mediaportal - need any more logs or info to explore? For now I have disabled channel scan/group updates

There are new drivers on the TBS webpage m8.

The new plugin has been stable for a while, but all of a sudden has started to crash out.
In the TV log, I have:
Tvservice stopped due to an unhandled app domain exception System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
at Sky_UK_Channel_and_EPG_Grabber.SkyGrabber.ParseChannels(Section Data, Int32 Length)

and then my TV Service dies. This happens about once a day at the moment.

Have a question for you regarding writing a plug-in using the Custom Data Grabber. I want to write a plug-in that will tune to a certain channel and leave it tuned until an EMM message is received, so the duration would be unlimited, until the correct message is received, at which point I could stop the tune.

Basically I am looking at keeping my entitlements up to date. Currently, when the TV is not being watched (not tuned) then entitlement updates are being missed. So I'm hoping to write a plug-in that can solve this issue.

Does normal TV tune requests have priority over the Custom Data Grabber, or will TV clients get a 'No Free Card' message if I have tuned to a specific channel using the Custom Data Grabber?

If the Custom Data Grabber is in use then it will have that channel until you are finished with it. The clients will indeed get a No free card available.

If you wish to tune to a channel and leave it on that channel, Enable the DVB EPG grabber for that channel, set the timeout to 10 mins, refresh every 11 minutes. It will tune to this channel everytime the tvserver is idle. The EMM's will still be sent and if a tune request is received the EPG grabber is kicked for the channel request.

Excellent suggestion. So when your Sky EPG plug-in kicks off it will un-tune from whatever channel I have set for the built in EPG support.

Yup, the EPG grabber will stop when a request for timeshifting or recording is received.

Have updated my TBS6981 drivers to the latest (2.0.0.20) and the grabber to 1.2.0.16, all looks good so far

Can't you add USALS support to your plugin DJBlu? :-p

Will upgrade my drivers, and the plugin as see you have a new version and give it another go...

So - updated the drivers, and the plugin version, and first scan it worked great, second it renumbered the channels, unticked them and only had them in all channels group.

Any ideas before I revert to a reinstall of windows? This never used to happen and started after working for a month on the previous release of the plugin with no other change to my computer that I can think of.
