I have an idea,
I'll add something to the plugin that may help.

It will try to tune to the channel for the grab. This will start a timeshift on the channel for 3-5 seconds before retuning to do the grab.

It seems that the error is happening after 2-3 hours of idling, if you look at the logs the there is a gap of over 2 hours then the grab fails.

This new method should fix this hopefully.

I'll upload a file later.

I think I may know what is the problem if this works. Do you have your hard disks power down after a certain time?

Stupid question but I need the epg for both Sky and freesat (Itv4+1), I assume that I need to use both grabbers for that to work? How will this work when they both grab the same epg but have channels in different positions?

Is itv4+1 the only channel you need the freesat grabber for? what i've done to get itv4+1 in my sky line up was to add it by hand. Yes i know you wont get an epg channel line up for it but all i do is look at itv4 listings then add an hour. Could be a lot of work for only 1 channel.

Polarization - Horizontal

Symbol Rate - 27500

This will add the Radio Channel - Caroline

Tick this in the Radio EPG grabber and it will fill in the ITV4+1 epg.

Yes thats work for me DJBlu... Add itv4+1 manualy then add radio caroline and set the internal epg grabber to grab from radio caroline.

You can scan the transponder that has ITV4+1 and it will find it.

Freq - 10832000

Pol - Horizontal

Symbol - 22000

Then scan for Caroline Radio Channel.

Enable it and it will add the EPG.

Ensure you don't have the EPG grabber refreshing more than the Sky UK scanner otherwise you'll lose some Series Link info.

It's not ideal but it works.

I'd set your Sky UK grabber to refresh every 3 hours and the Freesat EPG every 3 hours +1 min. This will ensure that the data isn't replaced.
