What is the status of the freesat implementation?
Do I just use the Sky UK Plugin or do I replace that with the freesat scanner dll?

I dont think the freesat plugin works but give it a try but last I tryed to use it.. It crashed. I think its a old version 1.2.0.4.. sky plug is 1.2.0.16.

maybe it could be added to sky plugin at some point.. all fta channels in they own group or some thing..

Hey I've spotted an issue with my DVB-S2 card.

My Technotrend TT3200 perhaps my Happague nova S2's too Do not like the modulation being set to QPSK, They prefer Mod not set else the DVB-S channels do not work. I just scan them again the normal way then use your channel grabber to reset the channel numbers which saves going through every channel changing the dvb-s ones to ModNotSet.

Would it be possible in a future to make the grabber insert what ever modulation you have set in the modulation setting under Card/mapping for regular DVB-S QPSK channels or a separate set of options to set the Modulation for DVB-S QPSK, DVB-S2 QPSK and DVB-S2 8PSK when putting the channels in the data base .

Already in the pipeline.

There will be an option to leave the Modulation as not Set.

I think I may know what is the problem if this works. Do you have your hard disks power down after a certain time?

Erm - possibly... let me check that

yep - was set to sleep after 20 mins... have disabled and updated to the new grabber... will see how it goes this time

Yep - no more disappearing channels :0)... however I am now also getting some duplicates appearing but think you are onto this from a previous post I saw.

Thanks for your help in narrowing this down - I guess this was due to the hard disk sleep setting?

I'm thinking it is m8,

Tested on my 5400rpm drive and it gave me infinite loops when it was spinning up.

The new tune then retune method will prevent this in future so it should be safe to send it to sleep again.

The duplicates I am looking at as I've noticed them here.

I am changing the entire channel update logic as it isn't good enough at the moment.

The svn i have was already compiled and downloaded off another site.

ace cant wait to have a play sounds a good useful plugin hope it works well with fta sat channels and the tbs 6981 card.

i found the rc wouldnt update an svn build although the svn i had was newer i do believe, but it should work with the beta version.
