Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (4 Viewers)

I advise you totally uninstall and delete any databases before installing 1.2.0 RC1.

Once installed. Run the two setup files from the first post, copy the Custom Data Grabber v1.0.0.3 into the TVServer directory. Then place the grabber file of your choice in the plugin directory.

Going to do a full system format.. I tryed windows 7 64bit and it give me loads of probs. No sound some times, Black screen, Standby not working. Very slow to zip hd channels.

Going back to windows 7 32bit.

Do you know if they fixed the windows 7 resize bug.

I use Windows 7 64 bit without any problems.

No they didn't fix the resize issue (I seem to remember they indicate it is intended behaviour) - I use a Gefen HDMI detective to get around the problem. Expensive fix, but it works

I took it out for the purposes of this patch.

I'll upload a TvPlugin.dll that will do the job, in due course.

RC installed ok, but when trying to install your TV server package I get a "failed to upgrade database" error. Using MSSQL..

Any idea?

I had the same problem. Just drop the database and it will be fine.

Drop the database at what stage?

I had already deleted the database before I installed RC...

Delete the complete folder called "mptvdb" you can use mysql admin tools if you know how to use mysql. if not just search you pc for mptvdb and delete it.

I'm not using MYSQL..

I'm using MSSQL, and I checked in the studio that the database was gone before installing RC.

Edit : according to the log file it is a syntax error when trying to update the database version - I know nowt about SQL really though!
