Gonna try with a MYSQL install...

Same error with MYSQL so I think the crash is related to something else...

Just going to try a system restore to earlier today and see how I get on...

    Hi there,

Are your gentle files correct? (not that they should cause an application crash)

    J.

    Hi there,

Go into the C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server and post your gentle.config file (along with your latest log files)

Looking at that Gentle.config, it seems that at the bottom, both MYSQL and SQLServer are uncommented - it indicates that only the one you are using should be uncommented or an exception could occur?

I think we can ignore this.. The Gentle.config is the same with a normal RC install..

Everything installs fine until the end of the DJBlu TV Server install..

Physix I'm seeing the very same error win 7 64 bit

    Phew! Not just me then!!

Yes, using Windows 7 64 bit here too.. (always have done)

I guess the question is what has changed between this (RC) installer, and the beta installer?

Just doing a reinstall of 1.2 rc1. Are the files for the beta version available anywhere as I will be in a world of pain if I cant get the series links setup by the morning I never backed anything up typical of me ;-)

    Hehehe!

I'm in the same predicament.. missus giving me earache cos she missed her soaps!!

@DJBlu, btw.. the first installer didn't crash, just gave an error with the database update on a SQL install..

No idea what other info I can give to help to be honest!?
