I did a complete fresh install of 1.2.0 with the official installers. Then you can hopefully use the 1.2.1 installers that i posted above to go up the 1.2.1. You can try to go from rc1 to 1.2.0 using an "over the top" install if you wanna try it.
Thanks,
so does that mean that the svn installers only install the changed parts and expect a standard 1.2 install to be present already? Do I need to run the 1.2 version after I install it and before I install the svn (or avoid running it), I guess the database format is different between the standard build and BJBlu's version, so I'm not sure if a 1.2 install will try and change it at all... Perhaps I just need to give it a go and see what happens...

Hi,
Thanks for the reply I agree simple is best. However I'd still like to understand what exactly is in the svn installer. The installers on the first page of this thread seem to be a complete MP install as far as I can tell and you do not need to install them over the top of an official release. At least when I used them I had a totally clean system and only installed the svn install from that page, I did not install the official build first and everything has been working fine. Is this not the case for the svn installers that you have built, are they simply an update to the official 1.2 release?
Thanks
Andy
Just noticed that I still have the problem with series link recordings not showing in red on the guide.
I've done a total wipe and install (including format and reinstall of OS) and I used the files provided by icam2.
I'm using StreamedMP skin - latest version.. wonder if that is the issue?
I'll ask in the thread...
@gloomyandy - do you still have the same issue?
By the way, series link recordings show up fine when you first set them, however the next day they no longer show in the guide, even though they are still set in scheduled recordings.
Frustrating!!
My settings are the same, except I have interlace fall back as Best, and I don't have it showing channel numbers.
Oh, and I have it set to show only series link and once.
