I also have another problem which I have not had before.. Multiple channels - BBC News, and a load of Sky Vegas channels.

I think I'll have to turn off the channel updating bit for now, because my channel lists are now a bit of a mess!

What skin do you use by the way?

Thats also strange. Have you tried clearing the channel list old completely and scan to a clean list?. Could well be something to do with you sql mate as all your channels and series link stuff are stored in there

Well, it was a clean list - I only installed everything from scratch Sunday.. I've just cleaned it up (I had about 8 BBC News Channels) and disabled the channel updater for now.

Even SQL was a clean install - as I said, I formatted and reinstalled Windows 7 from scratch and then installed MePo.

Oh well, it's functional at the moment, so not to worry for now!

So did i this is a bug in the plugin so we cant do much about this till DJBlu gets back. What happends is the plugin can add new and delete old channels ok. But when a channel changes its tuning details you are left with multiple entrys i had 5 bbc news this morning. easy fix just delete all the said channels and rescan then your get the right settings.

H there ive installed the 2 patches after the MP 1.2.1 install, but had problems with the TvEngine one , in TvServer configuration i cannot preview any TV channel (gives me an error) and the scheduled event window cannot be opened.
No such problems with the fresh MP 1.2.1 installation
Anybody had problems ?

Well I'm up and running.. And then they go and release 1.2.1!!! Doh...

Presumably I can't just throw the hotfix over the top.. Anyone tried?

With these 2 there was no need to use the official 1.2.1 installers. Just put these 2 straight over the top of what you have now and your be on 1.2.1

With this version the transponder upgrading bug is now fixed and a few other little bits and bobs.

Sounds like you have a database problem i suggest you drop your MPTVDB in sql and it should go back to the default settings. then just reapply your own.

Also is anyone else getting problems with my svn's as i've done 3 installs on other rigs for friends and not one had an issue (apart from the database error on the first run thats clears itself).

Again thanks for the answer , 1.2.1 was a fresh install cause i had 1.2 beta and installer told me i needed to fresh install
I posted my questions cause i was sure i installed all correctly and dropped the database
Anyway i will try to install it again

i dont seem to be having any issues all recordings are working and series link looking good will monitor the situation but seems ok thanks again for the compiles.
