Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (7 Viewers)

Hi,

Small bug/issue found......nothing major:-

I have 2 different types of cards loaded which show up in MP as 4 entries, 2 Hauppauge, 2 TBS.
Everything setup and working, and in DJBlu's card setup I selected both TBS cards for grabbing.

But if you then go to MP card setup and move the priority such that the TBS cards has higher priority, i.e. I effectively swapping the position of the TBS/Hauppauge cards then this has the effect of swapping the selection of the cards under DJBlu's setup, i.e. my Hauppauge cards are now selected.
Seems like DJBlu's setup is following the position in the main MP card setup. Should really maintain what has been selected irrespective of priority position.

I've been away for the last week, just noticed the front page update for 1.2.1 - does the series link recording work ok in the update now?

Possibly related to the above I have a further problem.

Background: I have this plugin working ok with a couple of Hauppauge cards, however, I also have a TBS6981 card and so thought I'd build again based on latest MP 1.2.1 etc.

So, I ghosted the HD (so I had a working system kept by) and then installed my new HD and uninstalled MP, including manually removing the databases.......I was starting completely afresh.

Installed my TBS6981 card alongside the Hauppauge cards.

Installed MP1.2.1, disabled the Hauppauge cards in MP, then did a quick manual scan on the TBS card and viewed a couple FTA channels. Works fine, so I manually deleted the channels.

Installed DJBlu's latest SVNs/DLL's etc and tried to GRAB, but get the following error:-

Error Occured:- UnknownError

Have played around I can't get it to grab. I notice that despite disabling the Hauppauge cards in MP they are still listed in DJBlu's Cards/Mapping tab. I have left them unchecked of course and only checked the TBS cards.........but something tells me there is some confusion/conflict going on and hence the Grab error.

Any ideas?

PS. The reason I want to leave at least one Hauppauge card installed is because I like the remote control and was planning on using it just to use the remote. The TBS remote control isn't so nice.
I have also custom modified an analogue Denon amp by way of an Arduino & C++ to have a motor controlled volume control and using the CH Up/Dn buttons on the Hauppauge remote...works great, but thats another story.

Sorry DJBlu just notice that even with the region set i just got 2 dupe's. (Watch HD and Dave HD only just updated themselves and the old ones were left behind). I thought that was it before never mind just though i'd let you know.

This is easy to fix.

Stop the TV Service. Close Setup TV.

Open MySql Command Line Client

enter your password should be "MediaPortal"

then type

drop database mptvdb; [return]

Now open SetupTV.

I don't know why but your database wasn't updated with the columns it requires.

Added new plugin on page 1.

This will allow you to set the "Not Set" option in modulation for HD channels and leave the SD channels alone.

Check your settings before grabbing as they default to ignore the option.

This option will only work for future channels that are added. It will not go through channels already scanned and change the data.

If you want to have all channels changed then delete them all and re-scan.

Thats great news!!! i've notice also with the V20 and V21 is that when the scanner says its moving the channels every scan it does not move them in reality. Could just be outputing to much info lol

Help! could someone in the UK give this a quick try for me. Could you try setting a series link and see if it works for you? For some reason the series link for the new code breakers series on BBC HD tonight at 21:00 does not seem to be working for me. I can set the recording ok but it does not show in red for tonight's episode nor does the episode show up in the scheduled section under the series recording. I suspect it may be some sort of issue with the actual data as other series links have been working fine for me. If anyone can tell me what to do to capture whatever you may need to debug this then I'd be happy to do that...
