Im getting a problem with the plugin. If i enable it mediaportal just hangs at its "loading plugins" screen, i have to control,alt delete to get back to windows. Any ideas why? Im running vista home premium and mediaportal with the streamedmp skin.

As an update, i upgraded to windows 7 today and mediaportal still hangs on loading plugins when the cyberlink remote plugin is enabled. What am i doing wrong? :s

Great plugin , but I'm missing two things:
1. Mapped "x" letter -to switch between fullscreen and GUI. I tried to put <button name="Enter" code="120" /> in xml files - not working.. How to do it?
2. I would like to switch in easy way between music player and mylyrics plugin-I'll greatful for any tips here

I have installed Windows 7 Home Premium and when I try to run the "CyberlinkPCMRemoteTray.exe" file I get the error message "RegisterDecice fehlgeschlagen. Errorcode: -3"

I have been running is successfully in Vista for ages with no probs, but cannot seem get it recognise in Windows 7. I have autohotkey installed, and that seems to be fine

Use the 4 files from the 'Files' folder, not the 'Release' folder:

- copy xml file in 'Files\InputDeviceMappings' folder to its corresponding folder (MP user dir or program dir)
- copy dll file in 'Files\plugins\process' to its corresponding folder in MP program dir
- copy ahk and dll files in 'Files\startup' to anywhere you like and create a shortcut of CyberLinkRCEmul.ahk to the startup folder. You can then press the home button to launch MP.

You should then only have one Autohotkey.exe process running the CyberLinkRCEmul.ahk script.

I get the same message "RegisterDecice fehlgeschlagen. Errorcode: -3", and I can't seem to find the problem. The problem arose when I installed Windows7 (64bit). I used the files with date 3/6 and 4/6 from folder(v1.0.1?). I use MP 1.1.0 RC2.

And suddenly everything works quite well. No fehlgeschlagne registerdevice or anything... I just did everything the same way as last time. Now I just need to tweak it as I'd like! Thank you Uptownboy!

I did follow the instructions but still get the error message, anyone have ideas to what to try next.
I have media portal rc4, windows 7 32bit

I too had it working fine with vista, and upgraded to win7 an get the same error...

This is really annoying, so much so I may just buy another remote

EDIT: seems I can get the remote to work mostly ok, but the home button seems to be the thing causing the issue... It doesn't work in MP, or to start the program, and gives the error I reported before. It seems to be mapped correctly?
