Hi,

I'm sorry to say it, but I'm afraid grabber prepni.atlas.cz will never work properly. The site seems to be guarded against automatic grabbing by __EVENTVALIDATION argument in post. This argument is the code that is dynamically changing. Wrong/old/static value of the argument disables choosing channels. The result: grabber always grabs only first default channel (CT1) for all channels.

However good try, it seemed very promising! Keep your efford, I love your work!

Hi guys, I've made new grabber for ceskenoviny.cz. I've added all present channels and genre grabbing . Please test them all coz I recieve only CT, Nova, Prima, Ocko & Z1 (Brno DVB-T).

Parabola blocks some users with Mediaportal and others

Hi.

Parabola.cz filters users wich downloads program into Mediaportal and similar apps. I talked to their staff member he said me they don't want to allow this activities, he explains away they have a problems with server overloading and they lose some advertising money. I think it's nonsense, because there are very few Mediaportal users with Webpepg downloading in the Czech I thig, but it's no go.
He said me they could give me an access for some payment, but I´m still waiting for next information from him.

I'm using some version of www_ceskenoviny_cz.xml from you and I have some problems, descriptions don't work and I have a problem with FILMOX channels, they doesn't display but I have to look at it, if it's in wepepg xml file or in transport to TVGuide. It's pity that ceskenoviny's program doesn't have some channels like Viasat eplorer and History and so on.

Thank you for information. Server overloading problem can be solved by placing needed informations to external server and rewrite parabola.cz grabber to it. But I don't think that server overloading is real reason why they blocked it up. They realy don't loose advertising money, because people who needs to grab TV program will grab it elsewhere and will not use their site more when it will be blocked up. I think, that it was much better advertise to allow grabbers under their name against blocking it. I didn't know that server before I needed TV program for Mediaportal for example.

If you will have some new information, please place it here.

Prabola, alternatives with some problems - cookies

I have been findig some alternatives, but almost everithing haven't more channels than ceskenoviny.cz.

There is very well tvprogram on the www.sms.cz but they use cookies for some navigation on the site, specialy for choosing of channels. Does anybody know if it's possible to use some easy cookie in the webepg to give the correct parameters to the website? How can I configure it?

Thank you, it seems to be good. Only one thing, If I used a Parabola listing and xml file, the description was cuted to the more lines and if the text was too log, whole block rolled slowly around. But the description text on the ceskenoviny xml is display on the GUI (after it has been converted to the TVGuide and to TV-Server) only in one very long line where I can read only a firs part. I know I can customize speed of scrolling and other parameter, don!t know how to force the text to be split and to scroll.

And have you any idea how to customize webepg for idnes TV listing, my question is in this thread https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...-processing-webepg-xml-file-41089/#post275298.
