Hi Stanik.

I'm no a specialist for html and xml, but I have tried to play with the source of the UPC listing in Paros proxy and I think it will be hard to parse to the webepg xml because:
- They use a very log POST string to display particular program, but if they don't change it periodicaly, it will be only lot of work with copy every string for every channel, so it maid be possible to do
- You cannot set the particular date, you can only choose one of the three period. You can otherwise change theese periods in the same POST string, but we don't know, how can the string change in the future after actual period will be change to new ones. Moreover they don't use same period for various channels (for example CT1 has this last period 23.06.2008 - 25.06.2008 and EUROSPORT has 23.06.2008 - 27.06.2008) Unfortunately you cannot chnge the date in the POST string to any other than their scheduled

I wanted to post there some example of post string, but it's indeed verz strange and very very long.

Hi guys! When I was searching for some easily-parsed tv program, I found this: XMLTV, testovací provoz

The only problem I have is that the documentation on parsing XML files by webEPG is virtualy nonexistant (eg. how to get access to the attribute of some xml tag?) - the rest should be rather easy...

Does anybody have some info or more detailed examples on how to write grabber files for XML files?

Hi.

Thank you, it seems to be good. Only one thing, If I used a Parabola listing and xml file, the description was cuted to the more lines and if the text was too log, whole block rolled slowly around. But the description text on the ceskenoviny xml is display on the GUI (after it has been converted to the TVGuide and to TV-Server) only in one very long line where I can read only a firs part. I know I can customize speed of scrolling and other parameter, don!t know how to force the text to be split and to scroll.

And have you any idea how to customize webepg for idnes TV listing, my question is in this thread https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...-processing-webepg-xml-file-41089/#post275298.

It is because ceskenoviny has only this short part present in basic listing. To grab full text I've to add some follow-link functionality. It's explained in wiki, but no time to do it. As soon as I arrive at home, I'll post new grabber because ceskenoviny redefined channel names in code (ct)

New grabber with details

Hi folks,

for quite a long time a have new version of grabber for ceskenoviny, however there are some problems and I had no time to examine it in details. Now I am convinced that the bug is on WebEPG side - it does not use encoding tag for Links. So it has wrong czech letters. Here is it. In next post there will be version without czech letters.

Oh sorry, they have removed version of pages with different encodings. So the only solution for czech letters are:
1) either do not use links sections - but description are quite short then,
2) or fix the bug in webepg - but this must do someone else. If there is some volunteer, I can cooperate, but I'm unable to do it alone.

Posilam vam svuj grabber, momentalne funkcni na vetsinu ceskejch kanalu na brnenskym digi A i B. Kdyz ozelite ty rozsireny popisky, tak snad bude stacit. Kdyztak kdo mate moznost, tak zkuste jestli spravne grabbuje i ostati kanaly z kabelovek atd... dikes

Kua, poslal sem blbej soubor... vydrzte, musim ho nekde najit

Soory not working,

Nefunguje, stahuje pouze program pro CT1 u vsech kanalu (Nova, CT2,...) a ma problem s cestinou.

Tohle to delalo i predtim, takze nevim co je spatne, kdyz tobe to funguje :-(

Tu cestinu jsem vyresil, v tom grabberu bylo potrba zmenit v tom linku encoding z win-1250 na utf-8 a je to, ale porad to taha nesmysly resp. rozhazene porady.
