Definitive channel scanning thread/setups (1 Viewer)

Could someone comment on where one changes the scan timeout settings in the latest TV Server? I can't find it anywhere. Thanks!

It's under "General Settings" on the "Scan" tab. Increasing the values made no difference for me - your mileage may vary.

I have the same issue with hex channel names but only for Dish - BEV works fine. Both BEV and dish sats are on the same diseqc switch and I am able to get all of the BEV channels fine... odd about dish...

Can you describe your BeV antenna setup and how you configured it in MediaPortal? I'm using a Dish500 twin LNB for Bev 82+91 going into one port of a DiseqC and I have a separate dish with a dual LNB pointing to Dish 61.5 going into the second port of the same DiseqC.

Right now, I have it all working (after lots of experimentation) on a Viewsat FTA receiver configured as follows:
- Bev 82 on port 1 of DiseqC then sat1 on a legacy SW21
- Bev 91 on port 1 of DiseqC then sat2 on a legacy SW21
- Dish 61.5 on port 2 of DiseqC

All of this works wonderfully, as I assume the internals of the Dish500 twin LNB must be equivalent to a SW21. Now, my question is, is it possible to execute such a configuration in MediaPortal?
