I installed the CVS from yesterday evening and tried to get my Airstar to work. Now it is recognized as a non-DVB-S-Card (couldn't enter DVB-S-Section in Config) but Autotune didn't find any channel. Do I need a special template? The only choice I have for my region is "Germany (all regions)".

Is your card working with dvbviewer ?

If yes, you can find your owne transponder frequencies and adapt a right scanning file for you.

If autotune doesnt work.

could you test by enter a channel manualy ?

like I said I didnt have Airstar to test.

Hi mbb,

No success at all. I do miss some important information about network-id, service-id and transport-id. I haven't found it yet.

I also edited the dvb.xml and got the identical result: No channels.

Signal strength is 100 dB and Signal Quality is zero. So I suppose that it doesn't work for Airstar in the moment.

I'm going on looking for the information I miss to add the channels manually

I finally found the IDs I needed and added a channel manually. But same result as before. Neither video nor audio on myTV with Airstar :-(

I checked tonight witch parameters are needed by DVBT.

And I found something missing in my sources for the bandwidth param :?

It will be available in the last CVS tonight or maybe the first of tomorrow. (thanks to Dman support)

You could test autotune with this new version.

Hi mbb

with your changes from last night autotune now finds all the channels which are provided in our region. The only problem is to get myTV to work. I cannot switch on myTV over the button. I tried different Codecs and VMR7 as well as VMR9 renderless.

DVBViewer works fine, so in my opinion it is not an issue of my graphic card.

This is what I found in the log:

It looks like MP tunes for SkyStar2 and not for AirStar. Do you have simular entries in your log for your CableStar?

Don't worry, the error message is a generic one for all xxStar cards.

If autotune works now.

The problem is certainly in the setting values write in the DB or read from the DB.

I got it

The database-columne "bandwidth" was not updated. I changed the value from zero to 8 (depending on the channel) and now my Airstar2 works. Can you fix it in the program? Great work mbb
