all issues in roadmap are sorted, so they must be currently doing internal testing, which takes about 1 week or so.

ok, from today or were all the issues sorted say a couple of days ago meaning a week from then?

The news seems to have been a little scarce!

not much point in asking, they will announce when it's ready. it all depends on how many unforeseeable problems they encounter in internal testing. I'm sure a donation would help things along though.

During development of 1.3.0 we tried to ensure that no plugin will be incompatible after the upgrade.
Internal testing of (20+ Plugins) shows that all the most popular plugins are working without issues. But there are 3 Plugins where we noticed that they now fail (one freezes MP and configuration completely on startup) in 1.3.0A.

Currently we are talking with the plugin developers to find out why their plugins are not working with 1.3.0A.
We want to avoid increasing the plugin compatibility check version in 1.3.0A because that means to tread many or even all current plugins as incompatible.
This is the final problem to solve before we can release.

Even though this is just an alpha (by no means meant to be used on a productive system), we are doing our best to ensure that you get a great release. :)
